Divine Strategy and Wise Boundaries

Devotional Teaching

Israel needed a clear strategy for entering Canaan, but they also needed covenant boundaries against corrupting influence. God then warned them that victory would not prove their superiority or self-righteousness. Divine strategy becomes dangerous when success feeds pride. Ask the Holy Spirit for plans that agree with Scripture, convictions that define healthy boundaries and gratitude that keeps every result submitted to grace.

Deeper Insight

Israel needed both a strategy for conquest and boundaries against corrupting influence. They also needed humility: success would not prove their personal righteousness. Divine strategy remains safe when conviction defines the boundaries and gratitude keeps achievement from becoming pride.
