Daily Bible Tour: DAY 119 OF 365 1 Chronicles 17–19
The Bible Tour follows three consecutive chapters each day. These readings are separate from the approved Holy Spirit thematic passages above.
Devotional Teaching
The church at Antioch was worshipping and fasting when the Holy Spirit directed them to set apart Barnabas and Saul for a particular work. Their mission arose within a community attending to God. Intimacy and outreach were not competing activities. Fellowship deepened their readiness to be sent, and the sending carried the fruit of that fellowship into new places.
Acts 1:8 gives the broad direction of the Spirit's empowerment: witness to Jesus from familiar surroundings to the ends of the earth. Not everyone will travel the same distance or serve in the same role, but every believer can participate. Some will speak, some will organise, some will give, some will welcome, and all can pray. Mission grows where gifts are offered together for the gospel.
A person does not need to become a project for us to care about their salvation. Listen to their story. Learn what they understand and what questions they carry. Offer truth with respect and practical kindness without hidden conditions. The Spirit can use a faithful relationship over time, not only a single dramatic conversation. Conversion is God's work; our responsibility is truthful witness and love.
For KDC, this perspective can guide the Regina City Mass Choir, RCRC, and the 1,000 Voices vision. Music and gatherings can create opportunities for worship, unity, and gospel witness. Their lasting value depends on more than attendance. Clear purpose, trustworthy partnerships, careful planning, and continuing discipleship help serve the people who gather. We submit these assignments to God rather than treating our plans as promises He is obliged to fulfil.
Today, pray for workers and for open doors to speak of Christ. Ask where your existing relationships give you an opportunity to serve. It may be a neighbour, a new colleague, a student, or someone who feels isolated. Take a small, faithful step rather than waiting for a grand platform. The Spirit who meets you in the secret place also accompanies you into the world. Let deeper intimacy enlarge your compassion and make you more available to carry the light of Jesus.
Deeper Insight
The secret place is not an escape from people; it is a place where God forms our love and readiness to serve them.
Scripture-Led Prayers and Declarations
1. Pray for workers
Matthew 9:37-38 (KJV)
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Prayer: Father, raise faithful workers for Your harvest. Give KDC a growing love for people who do not yet know Jesus. Call, equip, and sustain those who will pray, teach, welcome, organise, give, and serve with humility.
Declaration: I will pray for the harvest and be available to serve. The gospel is worthy of my faithful participation.
2. Speak with wisdom and grace
Colossians 4:5-6 (KJV)
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, guide our conversations with neighbours, colleagues, friends, and guests. Give us wise timing, attentive listening, and gracious words. Help us explain the gospel clearly and respect the people we hope to reach.
Declaration: My words will be gracious and wise. I will represent Jesus with truth, kindness, and respect.
3. Let our shared vision bless people
Matthew 5:16 (KJV)
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Prayer: Lord, guide the Mass Choir, RCRC, and 1,000 Voices vision according to Your purpose. Raise dependable partners and sound planning. Let our service make Your goodness visible, strengthen the Church, and open doors for people to hear of Jesus.
Declaration: Our shared work is dedicated to God's glory. We will plan responsibly and use our influence to bless others.
Daily Declaration
The Holy Spirit empowers me to witness for Jesus. My fellowship with God will deepen my love for people and my willingness to serve. I will pray for the harvest, speak with grace, and use my gifts faithfully. KDC and our shared ministry assignments are submitted to the Lord. May our service bring light, hope, and lasting fruit for His kingdom. Amen.
Practical Action
Pray for one person outside your usual church circle. Offer a genuine act of kindness or a respectful conversation, without making care conditional on their response.

OUR UNITED DECLARATION FOR NOVEMBER
We are a people loved by the Father, redeemed by Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
This November, we yield ourselves afresh to God. We receive grace to know His Word, obey His voice and walk in His wisdom.
We trust Him for mercy, favour, direction and provision. We bring our families, marriages, health, careers and businesses under His care. We will work diligently, love faithfully and follow His leading.
We ask for fresh fire, fresh dew and fresh empowerment. May our faith deepen, our understanding grow and our service bear lasting fruit.
We dedicate KDC, Banquet with the King, the Regina City Mass Choir, RCRC and 1,000 Voices to the glory of God. Let worship rise, let the gospel be heard, let lives be restored and let people come to Jesus.
Lord, manifest Your power in us, through us and among us. Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
