Carrying the Glory into Higher Exploits
The goal of every exploit is a life and community filled with God's presence and revealing His glory.Scripture Foundations
John 14:12 - "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do."
1 Corinthians 15:58 - "Be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord."
Bible Tour: Deuteronomy 25-27
Devotional Teaching
Israel prepared for the next stage by practising justice, presenting firstfruits, remembering God's grace, writing His law plainly and renewing worship at the altar. Higher exploits are sustained when visible progress remains rooted in gratitude, righteousness and the Word. Do not graduate from dependence on the Holy Spirit. Carry the disciplines of this month into family, work, ministry and every new assignment so that fruit remains and God's glory is revealed.
Deeper Insight
Israel prepared for the next stage through justice, firstfruits, remembrance, a written Word and a renewed altar. Lasting glory rests on more than a powerful moment. It is carried by grateful people who remember grace, practise righteousness and keep covenant truth visible.
Biblical Examples
- Israel at Mount Ebal (Deuteronomy 25-27): They built an altar, wrote God's law plainly, offered thanks and publicly affirmed the covenant before entering the future.
- The Early Church (Acts 2:42-47): They sustained doctrine, fellowship, prayer, generosity and witness until growth became a daily pattern.
- Paul (2 Timothy 4:6-8): He finished his course and kept the faith through changing seasons and costly service.
